Sagar Asia to Bring High Performance Ladders to North

“Our eyes are on the NCR region,” says Anita Narayanasamy (n.anita@sagarasia.com), assistant vice president - marketing, Sagar Asia Group of companies.“We are aiming to appoint at least 20 dealers in the Delhi-NCR area alone. We also plan to set up a warehouse in thecity,” she adds.

Sagar Asia Pvt Ltd was a participant at the recently concluded Delhi Build 2011. Formerly known as Zarges Tubesca India Pvt Ltd, Sagar Asia is a leading manufacturer of ladders andscaffolding in India at a state-of-the-art plant located in Hyderabad. The company has a strategic collaboration with Hailo Werk, Germany and Liberti Ladders,USA for household, commercial and industrial ladders.

Narayanasamy confirms that the company already has a strong presence in the southern part of India, and would now like to ramp up in the north. Besides, it now wants to build upits retail face. “We are in talks with Reliance Living and Bharti Walmart for retailing, and builders like Ultratech for project work,” she says.
Sagar Asia is offering high quality aluminium access solutions, including ladders used for homes, aviationplatforms, mobile scaffolds and wind turbines. Its major verticals deal with retail, defence, aviation and the wind energy sector.

Liberti is the range of ladders for homes, with safety features like anti-slip feet and steps, hard wearing hinges, and high load bearing capacity. The Skymaster range of maintenance ladders can lift working people 3m to 11.75m high, while the Freiheit range ofscaffolds are capable of supporting up to three people at heights 2.5m to 12.2m. “We have pioneered solutions for safe working at heights with German precision, and with unique safety features in access technology.”

According to Narayanasamy, the company’s two-acre plant is fitted with German machinery, while its personnel fully understand the scope and purpose of international performance and safety standards. “Our products have European and US certifications such as OSHA and ANSI. We produce around 200 domestic and commercial products per day, and around 100 scaffolds per day.”
