Kaiza Plans Expansion in North

Designer mosaic tiles supplier Kaiza has unveiled its plans for expansion in north India. This Delhi-based company is eager to expand its operations in the wake of its first anniversary in the country. Chitvee Kaur (chitvee@kaiza.co), managing director of the companyinforms that the time is ripe for them to charge ahead, as very few companies are offering products matchingKaiza’s offerings.

“Initially we would like to appoint dealers and distributors in the northern region, mainly metros, and then gradually expand our pan-India presence,” Kaur explains. She adds that the blueprint of the expansion plans is all ready, and that four dealership models have been finalised. “The models are exciting and interesting with trade margins varying from 20-30%.” Kaur elucidates that as the products fall in the niche category, the company is also looking forward to build a network of architects and builders for better visibility among prospective clients.

Kaiza specialises in mosaic tile design-based solutions for walls and floors. The tiles are available in different shapes and sizes. Shapes like square, diamond, sector, oval and round are immensely popular. The tiles are sized in between 10x10 inches and 25x25 inches.

“We develop designs based on various themes such as fashion, illusion, nature, surreal and the like, with numerous colour options. We have a dedicated design team for innovations,” says Kaur. Aesthetics coupled with customised solutions is the USP of the company, she adds.

She avers that it is this USP, which has helped them bag prestigious residential projects in Delhi. “We are closely associated with some of the renowned builders, and are directly involved in a few of their projects in NCR.”

Talking about transit time, she highlights that the tiles are imported from various European countries including Spain and Italy, hence the transit time usually ranges between 45-60 days.

Apart from regular promotional activities, Kaiza also participates in exhibitions and was recently seen at the Delhi Interiors Exhibition 2011. Corporate silhouettes, jewels, colourful profiles, drape lines, tree bird swans, stripes, Buddha in meditation, galaxy, wave, closed  & open flower, shells were some of the ranges exhibited at the show. “It is our first public demonstration, and our products received very good response from almost all categories of visitors. Also, we have registered numerous inquiries, few of which we are expecting to close in good terms,” Kaur adds.
