Grohe Launches Applications for iPads

Revolutionising the way bath fittings are marketed in India, Grohe AG has introduced applications for Apple iPad users. Architects, installers and consultants can now view the German bath fitting brand’s brochures, product information and designs at any given time. GROHEpro and GROHEbooks would popularise Grohe’s work, and their easy accessibility would make them a preferred choice.

Mathew Job, vice president and managing director of the company’s wholly-owned Indian subsidiary, Grohe India Pvt Ltd, says, “The iPad is increasingly becoming an everyday work tool for installers, showroom staff, architects and planners. Hence, we decided to use the new platform by introducing these two applications, which would help them access detailed information about our products and services without losing any time.”

He elaborates that while GROHEbooks will provide direct access to PDF versions of all brochures, GROHEpro will offer comprehensive product information, and planning and installation advise through a well-structured and self-explanatory user interface. GROHEpro has been offering the same services for the past one year in Apple iPhones and would now be available in iPads too. “Our company will ensure that the application is always up-to-date. Short update messages will be delivered to the users whenever we bring out new brochures and add variants to the product catalogue,” he informs.

The GROHEpro application can be downloaded all over the world with the language and product ranges specific to each country. He divulges,“GROHEpro for iPhones and iPads has already been downloaded 14,024 and 3,139 times, respectively, GROHEbooks for iPads has been downloaded722 times, and GROHEcard has been downloaded 19,820 in iPhones and 5,291 times in iPads.”

Job informs that both these applications can be downloaded from the iTunes Application Store. “These applications are already a huge hit with users in other countries,” he states.
