VHB Glazing Tape

3M has launched VHB structural glazing tape, which uses pressure sensitive adhesive technology instead of the conventional chemical cross-linking. The company believes that this technology will benefit glazing designers and fabricators. VHB is a high strength but visco-elastic material that bonds to the surface it is applied to, like a welding. It also has vibration damping properties that contribute to noise reduction that may transmit through the glazing panels.
